Ebenezer Mar Thoma Church, Vikaspuri, New Delhi was established on 01 April 1999 as part of the growing Mar Thoma community in Delhi. From its humble beginnings, the church has grown into a vibrant congregation serving believers and the wider community in and around Vikaspuri.
The journey of the church reflects the faith and dedication of its members. In the early days, believers gathered for worship and fellowship while the Mar Thoma presence in Delhi was gradually strengthening. Over time, the congregation grew and eventually formed the Ebenezer Mar Thoma Church, which today stands as a place of worship, fellowship, and service.
Currently, the church has 178 families as members who actively participate in various spiritual and community activities. To strengthen fellowship and prayer life, the congregation is organized into 8 Prayer Groups.
Several church organizations help nurture spiritual growth and service among members:
Edavaka Mission – focusing on outreach and mission activities
Sunday School – providing Christian education for children
Yuvajanasakhyam – youth fellowship encouraging spiritual and social development
Sevika Sanghom – women’s fellowship supporting church and community activities
The church also supports education through its institution:
St. Thomas Public School (up to Standard V), which contributes to the holistic development and education of children in the community.
Ebenezer Mar Thoma Church remains committed to serving God, strengthening the faith of believers, and sharing the message of Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, and service.
